The Soviet Union needs your help! It needs a leader to advance it's economy through the use of Five Year Plans! The Goal is simple: achieve your five year agricultural or industrial economic plan by securing the correct combination of plan cards. You'll have many obstacles to overcome, as the Random Event Cards can either drastically help, or completely derail your attempts at reaching your goals. Complete your Plan before your opponents and you win, otherwise, Stalin will be very disppointed in you...
In Five Year Plan, you get to decide the economic goals of your country. Will you go for an Agricultural Five Year Plan, or an Industrial Five Year Plan? Either will represent great progress for the Soviet People!
Every player is delt 12 Plan cards and announces their Five Year Plan, either Industrial or Agricultrual.
A turn starts by discarding one or two unneeded Plan Cards, and drawing that same number of cards from the top of the deck to replenish your hand. At the end of their turn, players draw a card from the Random Event deck. Random Event cards may tell you to do any number of things, ranging from simply trading in another Plan card (which could secure your victory!), to ordering an opponent to lose specific cards right as they're about to win!
The game continues like this until someone collects the right combination of Plan Cards to accomplishes their Five Year Plan, and wins the game!
